Alix Deane

During my two-week residency at Artscape Gibraltar Point I became entranced by the constant change of the shoreline. As I observed the same space each day, I became aware of my presence within the natural cycle. During my stay I constructed still vignettes of the cycle through collecting and cataloguing natural elements of the shoreline. At the end of my time on the islands I felt compelled to return each component into their new evolution.
